This piece is my contribution to a project for the FC 2008 art show, with 11 other artists, of the 12 signs of the Chinese Zodiac.
Most of the artists were able to draw their own Zodiac sign, with only a few overlaps. I was born in the year of the Rooster - and my sign is the Metal Rooster. So here is a Rooster in elegant Chinese robes, playing an erhu. All 12 signs of the zodiac will be displayed together on a panel at the FC artshow, so be sure to check it out if you are planning to attend. This piece is done in acrylics on 8"x10" illustration board. |
