Artist's Comments

An oil painting of a waterfall at Portland's Japanese gardens. Based on a photo I took during October of '07.

30"x40" oil on canvas, approximately 62 hours of work.

This is a photograph of the painting... as the painting is still wet, I won't be able to attempt to scan it for a while - and even then it may just be too huge to scan - I will see what I can do.

Beautifully done; I love the shadow and lighting contrast in this piece. I think I might like to try my hand at a landscape piece for my portfolio like this; your piece is extremely inspiring. :3

It also makes me think of the Faron Woods Sacred Spring in LOZ: Twilight Princess.

Wow...wow!

The time and effect that you put into the painting shows very well - this is beautiful! The reflection of the light off of the water, that wasn't shown before in the pictures you had posted up of the process, but the effect is stunning.

A true masterpiece.
