You draw some of the best facial expressions I've seen. It's pretty awesome to be able to illustrate a character at different points in their life. I'm tempted to do one of these.
Thanks for the compliments . I should do more with expressions than I do, also... its something I used to do a lot of, and I kindof toned it down when I started doing a lot of pinups - but neat expressions make the image so much more interesting.
Anyways, as far as the fur goes, its actually pretty easy. Instead of shading solidly (back and forth, trying to make it blend), I shade in short hard strokes, along the grain of the fur.. And I use acrylic paint to paint the highlights of the fur, in short fur-length strokes.. It doesn't have to be perfect - in fact, the less perfect, the more natural it looks.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Isn't it funny how the word 'politics' is made up of the words 'poli' meaning 'many' in Latin, and 'tics' as in 'bloodsucking creatures’?
