Echo the genet, dressed up in her yukata, ready for a summer festival.

Done with airbrush and acrylics on 8"x10" illustration board.

This is my first time trying airbrush.... (which was what I used for the background)

The smooth flow on the patterns look all so natural put together. There's even a bit of a cheery, playful atmosphere to be felt simply looking at the facial expression expressed in here. This is very lovely, for the lack of a word that better describes my feelings for this painting. : D

Apart from the way you've designed her robe, fan and hair pin, and made good use of black and purple/deep blue against her already dark fur; Echo's expression is really sweet. Like she's very excited about going out, or that she knows how beautiful she looks right now and is loving it.
